How Much Money Should I Bring On A Shopping Spree?
by Yahoo! Answers / December 2nd, 2009
Me and my friends are going shopping for my friend’s birthday. I need to buy new clothes (next month I’m gonna meet my relatives and stay over at my cousins for a month, also all the clothes I have is all worn out/old :/ so i need a new wardrobe) and we’re gonna watch a movie + eat at a restaurant.
How much money would you bring? Right now I have $60 saved from my birthday.

Well, it depends on where you shop. I personally shop at charlotte russe for $30 jeans, hollister and abercrombie/abercrombie and fitch for shirts and tanks, and macy’s for some coach shoes. I go on shopping sprees at least every other month and get some jeans and a lot of shirts and maybe a pair of shoes. Nothing less than $300 but not over $400

It depends on where you shop. If you go to target you can probably get several outfits for $60 where as if you go to a brand name store you might be able to buy one thing..maybe one thing. Don’t get hung up on brand names..its a waste of money. Buy things that you like and that are cute..they don’t have to have a designer label.

Haha. Every time I go on a shopping spree, I spend whatever I have. The last one, I spent $350. I think $150 would be enough because it’s for a birthday party, and you only have $60 now. Try calling someone else that’s going to ask how much they’re bringing.
So bring about $20-$30 if it’s one of those.
Also, bring about $15 for the movies and popcorn or candy and a soda. As for lunch, it depends on where you’re going. Red Robin, McDonalds, etc. you should bring $15, or Olive Garden type, you’re better off bringing lunch or just order the breadsticks. Yummy
I hope I helped!

When i go shopping, i like to have varieties of what to wear, so i bring around $100, but a shopping spree is worth above $350 to be satisfied
5•7•9 is a great store with clothes that are worth $25 but are sold for less thant $10

you need mor than sixty dollars and it depends on where your going to buy clothes like if you r going to hollister, ae, abrocrombie/fitch- $400+ and department stores- $350, and shoes- maybe $80 and the cost of food about prob $10-$15
all together ~$840

I would bring at least $100 for the clothes shopping. If you want a whole new wardrobe then I think that is a good amount. I would also bring another $20 for the movie and lunch. I think that is a resonable amount. Keep saving!
